Support for exam boards and communication of Final Course, Progression and Awards

This page aims to provide staff with information on how to access support from April to June in relation to exam boards, course upload, award upload and progression decision communication.

Student Systems Support
Support is provided through email studentsystems@ed.ac.uk, by telephone 0131 651 4000 or through onsite live support.  To arrange live support for upload of course results, final awards or progression decisions please contact studentsystems@ed.ac.uk.

Support for the corporate assessment tool SMART:

• SMART-related queries should be sent to smart@ed.ac.uk.
• Student Systems, supported by IS, will be available from 9-6 during the critical period of 18th May through to 5th June.  Standard 9-5 support outwith critical period. 
• An IS alert will be published along with email communication to key users if system outage occurs.
• Temp resource available within CAHSS to key shared marks during critical period.
• Temp receives mark data from Schools not on SMART for uploading for the purposes of sharing those marks with SMART Schools.
• On request, temp can extract marks from SMART on behalf of Schools who don't use SMART in relation to students studying courses with Schools that do.
