Why has the Admissions Universe changed?

When staff were first given access to BOXI to report upon EUCLID admissions data, the admissions universe was displayed in a very raw format, showing objects for every field available within EUCLID and labelled with technical titles. This made the universe cumbersome to navigate and rendered objects difficult to find. In light of the problems staff had been experiencing with the admissions universe, the EUCLID team, in consultation with key business users, have re-designed the layout and format of the universe to hide objects that are not relevant to admissions reporting, re-structure the class layout to simplify navigation and make objects more easily accessible and identifiable. |
