This will open the Select Template screen below. There are three fields in the Select Template screen, all of which are mandatory to create the DPT. The first field requires a DPT Template to be selected from the drop down list. EUCLID has created templates in the system that can be used as the basis for new DPTs. This will enable DPT Editors in the schools and colleges to enter the detailed information in a standardised way. Select the template from the DPT Template drop down list that best matches the new programme. Make sure the template selected reflects the correct duration of the programme e.g. 4 years Next select the starting month of the programme. Finally, select the Academic Year in which the programme will commence. Click to display your selected template. The template lists the number and level of SCQF credits that need to be achieved in each year of the programme. Click to create the DPT records ready for editing. Alternatively click to select an alternative template. The DPT records have been created and are ready to be amended. Note the default status is set to Inactive and can be updated to Active when the DPT is ready used. Editors have the option of editing the DPTs now or returning at a later time. Click to return later, the task will remain in the group Intray until completed. To begin amending the records now click the DPT Code hyperlink for the year of the programme to be updated.
The template has been populated with a series of dummy codes replicating a typical Year 1, UG DPT. Editors can now amend courses, update credits and adjust the rule structure and grouping of course options. See Section: Amend DPTs |
