DPT Code Structure

DPT Editors are able to make amendments to any DPT owned by their school. All DPTs are academic year based and therefore a unique DPT code will exist for each year of a degree programme in each academic year that it runs.

DPT Code Structure

Prior to the migration of the existing Degree Programme Tables into EUCLID, a standard DPT code structure was agreed.

Undergraduate DPT Code Structure

  • Route/Programme Code (padded to 11 characters with X)
  • Mode of Attendance (P, F or U)
  • Block (11 for 1st Year, 21 for 2nd)
  • Occurrence (B for September, F for January)
  • Academic Year (2 characters)

An undergraduate DPT code will therefore look like this:

  • UTASPHBXXXXF-31B-09
Astrophysics BSc, Full Time, 3rd Year, Sept Start, 2009-10

Postgraduate DPT Code Structure

  • Route/Programme Code (12 characters inc Mode of Attendance)
  • Block (11 for 1st Year, 21 for 2nd Year)
  • Occurrence (B for September, F for January)
  • Academic Year (2 characters)

A postgraduate DPT code will therefore look like this:

  • PTMSCNURMH1F-11F-08
Nursing in Mental Health MSc, Full Time, 1st Year, Jan Start, 2008-9
