DPT Publishing

Degree Programme Tables (DPTs) are a key component of the University’s academic regulations and form part of the Degree Regulations and Programmes of Study (DRPS).

The DRPS is held at the following URL: www.drps.ed.ac.uk

Clicking on the Degree Regulations & Programmes of Study for 2009/2010 hyperlink will open the index page below.

From the end of April 2009 it will be possible to view the 2009/2010 DPTs published from EUCLID by clicking on the browse DPT hyperlinks illustrated above.

The DRPS index page opens displayed DPTs grouped by College and then School.

Clicking on a school hyperlink will open a list of DPTs for that school grouped into Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.

Displayed below are the 2009/2010 DPTs for the School of Arts, Culture and Environment.

Only DPTs which have been set to Active in EUCLID will be published to the web. Any programme with a DPT status of Inactive will not be displayed.

Click on a programme title to view the 2009/2010 DPTs for the selected programme of study.

The DPTs for the Architectural Studies (MA) are displayed below.

At the top of the screen the programme name and code are displayed.

Below this are the Compulsory Courses and Course Options for Year 1 of the programme. Users can scroll down to view Year 2, 3 and 4.

The DACS/WISARD course code is displayed along with the corresponding EUCLID code. The DACS course code is a link to the course information as held in the existing DRPS.

This information includes:

  • Subject Area
  • Delivery Information
  • Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Assessment Information
  • Contact Details

Updating Published DPTs

The Degree Programme Tables published in the DRPS will be refreshed on a weekly basis via an automated process that will run every Saturday.

Any changes made to a DPT via EUCLID will be visible following the weekly refresh.

Setting a DPT to Inactive will remove it form the DRPS pages following a refresh.
