Cancel or Withdraw a Course Enrolment

The Edit Course Enrolments (not validated by DPT rules) screen displays a list of the student’s current course enrolments.

Note: Any changes made through this screen will not be validated against the DPT or individual Course Entry Requirements.

The ability for a DoS/Administrator to Cancel or Withdraw a student from a course will depend upon the course start date:

Cancel a Course Enrolment
A student can be cancelled from a course within the first 6 weeks of its start date. A cancelled course will be completely removed from the student’s record and it with no record of the student having been enrolled on the course.

Withdraw a Course Enrolment
A student can only be Withdrawn from a course after 6 weeks of its start date. A withdrawn course enrolment will remain on the student’s record (including their transcript) with a result of ‘Withdrawn’ recorded.

To Cancel or Withdraw a course enrolment use the radio button in the left hand column to select a course and click the Cancel/Withdraw Course button.
