Student Support Officer (Power User)

Introduction

The Student Lookup tools allow Student Support Officers to view and update student records. You can retrieve a cohort or an individual student record depending on your own requirements.

The Student Support Officer has access to the following options within EUCLID.

1. Quick Student Lookup

The Quick Student Lookup option is the simplest way to retrieve a group of students against commonly-used retrieve criteria.

2. UUN Student Lookup

The UUN Student Lookup option is the quickest way to retrieve one student's record where you know the student's University User Number (UUN).

3. Student Lookup - Detailed Search

The Student Lookup - Detailed Search option should only be used for complex retrievals where you want to retrieve a cohort of student using multiple search fields. Usually, the Quick Student Lookup will be suitable for most standard retrievals.

Once retrieved Student Support Officers are then able to view and administrate student records within the Student Hub.

4. Maintain Taught Students' Directors

The Maintain Taught Students' Directors option allows staff to retrieve cohorts of students and register them with Directors of Study - negating the need to do so individually within the Student Hub.

5. Confirm Attendance by Confirmation Status

The Confirm Attendance by Confirmation Status option allows staff to retrieve cohorts of students by their Confirmation Status and confirm their attendance  - negating the need to do so individually within the Student Hub.

6. Confirm Attendance by Director/Principal or Lead Supervisor

The Confirm Attendance by Director/Principal or Lead Supervisor option allows staff to retrieve cohorts of students by their DoS or PGR Supervisor and confirm their attendance - negating the need to do so individually within the Student Hub.
