Approval of DecisionsHow do I review and approve or cancel a decision? Step 1: Access the View/Process Applications screen from the list of screens in the Admissions Process Screens Container
Step 2: Complete the required fields Depending on how many applications you want to review and approve at any one time, you can enter appropriate search criteria. For example, to retrieve all
unapproved reject decisions that have been keyed for a
specific school you would select the required school
in the specific field and R
in the Decision/Response
field. You can also retrieve individual applicants
by entering their UCAS id. The UCAS cycle will be
defaulted to the current cycle and your College will be
defaulted to your own.
When you have finished completing the details you want to retrieve on, click on the Approve Decisions button.
This will return all the applications with a decision
ready to be approved and transmitted to UCAS.
Depending on the search criteria entered, you might get one application returned for review or a number of applications. You can browse through them by clicking on each application on the left hand column.
Step 3: You can review the application
details by accessing the buttons along the top,
Application, Personal etc. When you are satisfied with what you have reviewed, and
that the decision about to be sent is correct, you can
send it the decision to UCAS. If the decision is incorrect
you can reset it. Select from the dropdown menu
to either Send to UCAS
or Reset CAP and
tick the application.
You can select one application at a time, review and send, or review them all and then tick all of the applications to send at the same time. |
