What happens if my Tutee requests that I do not disclose a confidential matter with anyone?
In some circumstances you may have a discussion with a Tutee that covers an area that they do not wish anybody else to be aware of. If this happens, you must make the Tutee aware of the implications for the short and longer term in relation to the support they can expect, and include the University agreed text in a note made against the meeting indicating that the discussion took place, and the consequences were clarified.
The University agreed text can be found within the option to Insert standard pre-defined text when you are adding a Meeting or Note against your Tutee.
