The briefing
Our role on this visit was to clear gorse to make fire breaks and to give saplings room to grow, so exhausting work. The weather forecast was not looking good but we stayed dry and even saw the sun, fleetingly. Our rangers for the morning were Gordon and Will who really appreciated the effort we put in. The photos below give a snapshot of the morning.
