How do I edit/change a rule I've already created?

If you have already set up a rule in Outlook and need to change it then it can be edited.

  • Go to the ribbon in Outlook

  • Select the dropdown on the Rules icon and select Manage Rules and Alerts
  • Select the rule you want to change, and the corresponding Rule descriptions will be shown in the lower box. Select any of the underlined values to open a pop-up window where you can change the details that you previously entered.
  • Select Apply
  • Select OK to close the Manage Rules and Alerts window
